 CWA, Ltd., founded in 1989, is an Interactive Management consultancy. It specializes in designing collaborative action plans to address complex tasks. This is accomplished through teamwork and with the participation of the members of the organization who have a stake in defining and designing these tasks. CWA has resolved a variety of complex issues through the design of action plans with clients, for example: (a) the development of new products; (b) designing or redesigning the clients' services, programs, functions, or initiatives; (c) long-range strategic planning and management; and (d) designing information systems. CWA is dedicated to the application of the CogniScopeTM system approach. The CogniScopeTM system links five indispensable elements, which are essential to produce action plans efficiently, effectively, and equitably: Community of Stakeholders, CogniScopeTM Team; Consensus Methods; CogniSystem Software; and Collaborative Facility. The CogniScopeTM system is a process of cross-functional teamwork where the stakeholders create their own collaborative design of a plan. It manages complex issues through group design and interactive sessions with open and focused dialogue. One major by-product of the application of this system is "collective learning" and the emergence of team wisdom; (or, in Greek, DEMOSOPHIA, which means the "wisdom of the people"). CWA's unique approach has been applied by a variety of organizations, both public and private, in different markets: pharmaceutical, insurance, nuclear power, computer hardware and software, and education, to name a few.
